Possible Solutions for the Future

Iceland currently has a very small population at 308 910.  In order to support the increasing dependency load, Iceland needs to attract immigrants.  The current population of immigrants is 0.1% of the population.  Iceland needs to change its immigration policy and allow more immigrants to better improve their country (Index Mundi)

The future birth rate of Iceland is, as previously mentioned, decreasing rapidly.  The government of Iceland needs to encourage women to have more children.  (US Census Bureau)

By increasing birth rate and immigration, the population of Iceland can increase and therefore Iceland can improve by becoming a more multi culturally aware and productive nation.
